Montchavin was originally a Savoyard village farming community and has retained much of its quaint traditional feel.
Wandering around its narrow winding passages, you will find charming old Savoyard houses with beautiful wood carvings, adorned with colourful window boxes. Some still have cows and livestock living beneath!
It has a range of shops selling local arts and crafts and ski wear, a delicatessen, a boulangerie, a small but well-stocked supermarket and a selection of fabulous restaurants and bars. In fact everything you need for a perfect holiday!
